Fine Arts Insurance

Fine arts insurance covers any type of art that is the property of UBC or has been entrusted to UBC for exhibition or any other purpose. It covers all types of art (over $1,000 per item) including, but not limited to, artifacts, antiques, libraries, manuscripts, photographs, memorabilia, photographs, natural history items or historical items, archaeological item, rugs, hangings, statues, sculptures and the physical results of academic research and any equipment used for exhibition purposes.

NOTE: gemstones of all kinds and/or precious metals need to be referred to Insurance & Loss Prevention for separate insurance arrangements.
